Getting Around Seattle

Hello Folks,

Well today instead of talking about our daily adventures it is our time to answer the top most asked question we receive here at The Chittenden House. “How do we get around if we do not have a car”,?

Easy right? Well not really when you begin to realize how many modes of transportation we have here in West Seattle. A few to mention are the West Seattle Metro, Taxi, Uber, LYFT, Lime Electronic Scooters, and last but not least the Seattle Water Taxi.  Most of these modes of transportation listed are pretty common to locals and tourists alike.  The Transit system and taxi system are first class and will offer a smooth and inexpensive ride into the city any time day or nigh.  However, if you are looking for a different adventure we suggest giving the Seattle Water Taxi a try.  If you haven’t taxied a boat before, you are in for a real treat to see the city in the most unusually way.  Either taking the taxi into the city or coming back from a romantic dinner date the views are stunning.  Plus there is inside and outside seating, so if you want to cuddle up inside or brave the wind and feel the sun on your face you can have either.   I have posted a few pictures from riding the taxi this week to show you.  Plus a few links below for your information below when visiting with us.
